Application process
1. Send us your paperwork
If we have sparked your interest, please email your full application documents including your earliest starting date and your salary expectations to the following address only: recruiting@asconsit.com
2. Confirmation of receipt
Once we have received your application, we will send you a confirmation of receipt, so you will know your application arrived.
3. Review of your application
We will carefully review your application. Together with internal coordination, this will usually take us about 3 or 4 weeks. In exceptional cases where we need longer than this, we will let you know, of course.
4. The video interview
If you have won us over with your application, we will invite you for a video interview. This will take about one hour and take place either in the morning or the afternoon, depending on what works better for you. We will contact you with suggestions for a date and will always confirm the agreed upon date by email.
Following a short round of instructions, we will talk about your career to date and the projects you have worked on in the past. The HR department and a member of your new team will take part in the meeting. It goes without saying that we will also share a lot of information about ASCONSIT and the general conditions of working for us with you. At the end of the interview, there will be plenty of time to answer your questions.
5. Your job interview
If the phone interview was successful for both sides, we will invite you for a job interview. We can meet via video or on-site on our premises in Lüneburg.
On this occasion you will also meet the management of ASCONSIT. Your real-life job interview will start with a short overview of the agenda to make sure you know what to expect. It is important to us to talk to you on equal footing. This means that we will ask you questions, tell you about our company and show you our premises. You will also meet your team. You don’t need to dress up for this date. There is no dress code. Just be yourself.
6. The trial day
If the talks were good for both sides and depending on your professional or project experience, the next step of the application process will be a trial day. This is an opportunity for us to get an impression of your skills and for both sides to get to know each other better.
Your trial day will usually start at nine and last about 5 or 6 hours. Following a warm welcome, we are going to take care of some formalities (checking address data, registration in our visitor system, etc.). Then we will show you your workplace and give you a practical task. The task will be designed to match your knowhow and the advertised position.
At noon you are invited to have lunch with us. You can then finish off your practical task and present the results to your team. You can ask questions about your task or the process at all times, of course.
7. Signing your work contract
The talks and the trial day went well for both sides and the general conditions are a good fit, too? There is nothing left stopping us from working together then, so you will shortly receive your contract in the mail.
8. Onboarding & training
Your onboarding process starts as soon as you have signed the contract. You are now part of the team, even if your first working day at ASCONSIT is still a little while away. We will stay in touch via email and will invite you to any company or team events.
On your first day, you will receive a training plan for the first six weeks. Your contact partner from the HR department and your personal mentor from your team will be there to support you. We want to give you the best start possible and to show you that you are now part of our ASCONSIT family.
