Anniversary: Proudly celebrating 10 years of innovation in action!
Ten years ago, I had a vision to create an organization which could not only provide professional consulting, but also develop custom, sustainable IT security solutions for clients motivated to implement industry-leading security practices. At that time, I already had over a decade of experience in PKI software, cryptography, SAP Security technology and concepts, as well as enterprise architecture. I saw a need clients had for demand-driven consulting, trusted advisors, and proven partners for custom software development to solve their unique challenges.
Driven by this vision, I founded ASCONSIT GmbH in 2009 and shortly thereafter set up the headquarters in Lüneburg, Germany where the company remains to this day. Early on the company focused on partnering with customers interested in valuable, long term relationships and growing the team slowly with technical experts who also shared the vision and entrepreneurial spirit on which ASCONSIT was founded. The initial team of consultants was eventually complemented with teams dedicated to support and development.
Through the years our client-partners came to rely on our know-how, flexibility, innovative solutions and most importantly our commitment and partnership. From the start, ASCONSIT had an international client base and this was an important element of our corporate strategy. In recognition of our global presence, we established an office in the US in Charlotte, NC in 2011.
From our inception, the majority of our work has been focused on SAP solutions for Identity Management (IdM). Through implementing SAP IdM at numerous Fortune 500 companies and global corporations, we have continuously deepened and broadened our expertise in SAP technologies and optimized our processes to meet customer needs related to these solutions.
ASCONSIT believes that effective partnership requires listening to and understanding our clients. This philosophy has enabled us to develop our own technical solutions and support offerings for customers that significantly simplify the implementation, operation, and end-user satisfaction of SAP products. We also grew to meet our client’s needs driven by legal and regulatory concerns, implementing solutions such as SAP Single Sign-On, SAP Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) / Access Control (AC) and SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD). We have worked intensively on these topics so that we can also support our customers in integrating the relevant requirements into the increasingly complex security solution landscapes.
Today, our team has grown to nearly two dozen employees and we are always looking to add talented professionals who share our passion. Each of our team members contributes his or her expertise and creativity to the successful implementation of our client-partner’s solutions. We have big plans for the future, as the digital enterprise rapidly evolves. We are currently looking for additional staff to further expand our services in the areas of authorization concepts, cloud security, HANA and S/4HANA. We are positioning ourselves for the future so that we can continue to provide our existing and new client-partners with the best possible solutions and support in this challenging and exciting time.
